If you have been following my blog we’re talking about Neuro Night Essentials by NeuroBiologix. Oh, oh, I’ll be right back, I’ve got a customer.

Believe it or not, just as I was writing this very blog, a customer came in and asked for this product. She said, it’s the only supplement that helps her kid sleep and it works like nothing they’ve ever tried. Anyway, back to hormone support.

I’m sure you’ve all heard of melatonin. Melatonin is a natural hormone made by a tiny pea sized gland in your brain called the pineal (pih-knee-uhl) gland. During the day your pineal gland is inactive, and daytime levels of melatonin are barely detectable, but somewhere around 9 PM, when the sun goes down and darkness occurs, the pineal gland begins to secrete melatonin into the blood, that’s why they call it the "Dracula of hormones" – because it only comes out in the dark. At that time the pineal is "turned on" and begins to produce melatonin and as levels rise in the blood you begin to feel drowsy. All through the night -- Melatonin levels stay elevated, then gradually drop as the sun comes up and becomes inactive again at around 9:00 AM. Neuro Night Essentials has 3 mg. of melatonin per dose, just enough to give you that drowsy feeling without making you feel groggy in the morning.

Here is an important tip!  Turn off all of your electronics and put them in another room. The lights from the LEDs, on your computer, your smartphone / smart TV and other electronics create artificial indoor lights which can be bright enough to prevent the release of melatonin.  Even if the pineal gland is switched "on", it will not produce melatonin unless the person is in the dark. Not to mention, the EMFs, (electro-magnetic fields) give off powerful electronic signals that can affect your circadian rhythm.
